Slot-Die Coating: A high-precision pre-metered coating technology. A metering pump delivers adhesive at constant pressure to a precision slot-die head, which applies it directly onto the substrate. Die design must consider fluid dynamics, thermal expansion control, and anti-clogging features, with lip flatness errors controlled within ±2μm. For high-speed coating (≥30m/min), a vacuum box is often equipped to eliminate air entrapment and ensure coating quality.


Hot Melt Coating: An eco-friendly, solvent-free process. Solid Hot Melt Adhesive is heated to a molten state and applied directly to the substrate via a coating head. It requires no drying stage, offering high efficiency and energy savings, making it the preferred process for products like transdermal patches and cataplasms.

IV. Application in Typical Product Lines


Wave-Lined Sports Bandage: Often uses roll coating with a coating weight of 50-70g/㎡. The production line features a PLC synchronization control system for precise tension control throughout the unwinding-coating-drying-rewinding process.


Zinc Oxide Tape/Medical Rubber Plaster: Uses knife-over-roll or reverse roll coating processes, with operating speeds up to 50m/min.


Medical Paper Tape: Designed for fixation and bandaging. Products must meet strict medical standards such as peel adhesion ≥1.0N/cm and holding power (creep) ≤2.5mm.


V. Application Scenarios


Medical Fixation: Used for securing IV catheters/needles, wound dressings, and various transdermal patches.


Specialized Medical Use: Tapes with different substrates and adhesives are suited for sensitive skin, joints, and other specialized medical scenarios.
