Coating Machines

Coating machines are primarily used for surface coating processes on materials such as films and paper. These machines apply a layer of functional adhesive, coating, or ink onto rolled substrates, followed by drying and rewinding.

They employ specialized multi-functional coating heads capable of achieving various coating forms. Both the unwinding and rewinding sections feature full-speed automatic splicing mechanisms and PLC-programmed closed-loop tension control.

One Type of Coating Machine:

This coating machine includes a first pre-treatment device, a coating roller, a first coating die head, and a post-treatment device. These components are arranged sequentially along the substrate's travel direction. The first pre-treatment device is positioned on one side of the substrate and is used to apply adhesive tape or adhesive paste onto the substrate surface, partially covering it. The first coating die head and the coating roller are positioned on opposite sides of the substrate, facing each other. The post-treatment device, also located on one side of the substrate, processes the adhesive tape or paste on the substrate surface, causing it to detach or peel off.

The shape of the adhesive tape and the application pattern of the adhesive paste can be configured according to actual requirements. The operation of applying tape or paste onto the substrate surface is straightforward, enabling the coating of complex, irregular patterns on the substrate.

Types of Coating Machines:

Common BOPP/PET Film coating machines

Lithium Battery Coating Machines: Utilizing methods such as comma bar coating, micro-gravure coating, slot-die coating, lip coating, reverse roll coating, and others. Dozens of coating methods exist for different products, with approximately ten commonly used. High-precision methods include micro-gravure coating, slot-die coating, and lip coating.

Paper & Self-Adhesive (Pressure-Sensitive) Coating Machines: Widely applicable for label paper, double-sided tape, kraft paper tape, adhesive tape, fiberglass tape, crepe paper tape, and related coating processes.

PVC Electrical Insulation Tape Coating Machines: Suitable for coating flexible substrates like PVC electrical insulation tape.

Optical Film & Precision Electronic Coating Machines: For coating various colored/thickness PET base films, release films (including fluorosilicone release films), adhesive/coating and release layer application, micro-gravure coating with dual anti-static properties (1-3g release films), PET silicone coating, and anti-static solution coating.

Multi-Functional Coating Machines: For surface coating treatments, adhesive application, glazing, release agent coating, solvent-free coating, hot melt coating. Applicable to films, paper, fabrics, leather, synthetic fibers, new materials, aluminum foil, and copper foil.
